SALESPERSON PRE-LICENSING COURSE:  Price:  $325.00

·        Includes FREC approved course, final exam, textbook, course completion slip, application forms and supplemental materials.

·        Classes are scheduled on Tues., Thurs., 6:30-10:30pm  (16 sessions, 8 weeks)

·        A $20.00 tuition reduction is offered when a $75.00 deposit is paid ten days prior to scheduled class dates OR/when student pre-registers via fax or phone and pays the $305.00 (reduced)class fee on or before the first night of class.

45-HOUR POST LICENSING COURSE:  Price:  $175.00

·        If your initial license expires without taking this class, you will be required to start over... Pre-license course, State license exam, etc.

School Policy…

The end-of course exam cannot be given to any student with absences exceeding the FREC allowance.

 

For a $20. course materials fee, and provided the “original” course tuition/materials has been paid in full, students who previously attended class may repeat the course within ONE YEAR of the original class start date. (Purchase of updated materials, textbook, etc. may be required.)  Space is limited; therefore, “repeat” classes are offered, as long as seating space is available, with consideration given to new students, first.  You must register and pay the course materials fee, in advance to attend a “repeat” course.  The “repeat” student will receive a full refund of any money paid, in the event seating space is not available.

 

Within one month of the class START date, a refund of any tuition paid, less materials, (textbook, etc.) will be provided ONLY when the student registered, but did not attend class or attended one hour or less of class. 
                        (FULL refunds will be provided for courses canceled by Davis Real Estate School.)    

Registration Procedure…

Register for any class by mail or phone.  A deposit of $75.00 is required. (Most credit card(s) accepted.)

 

The balance may be paid in $50.00 minimum installments PER WEEK. This is a courtesy to students and regular payments will be required.  The course must be PAID IN FULL within five (5) weeks of the class start date.  The end of course review and course test/grade report will not be provided until the student has paid in full for the course and/or any course materials. Checks returned by the bank will be subject to a $40.00 service charge and if not redeemed will be referred to the State Attorney’s office for prosecution.  Full payment of tuition is due and payable even if the student drops out or fails the course.  REFUNDS and REPEAT COURSES are allowed ONLY as stated above.

General Information…

Requirements for a Florida real estate salesperson license:

—   Must be at least 18 years of age                           —    Must have a high school diploma or  GED

·          Must complete/pass the required 63 hour course —    Must pass the State examination

·          Do not need to be a Florida resident

 

Cost of the State examination:. $183.50

The state application cost is $152.  The test cost is $31.50.  With computerized testing, the test date may be arranged at www.promissor.com twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week or by calling 1-800-274-8920.  Payments ARE NOT accepted at the exam site.  There is an additional charge to re-take the exam.  Reservations may be canceled up to two (2) business days prior to the exam date without financial penalty. 

 

License renewal period:

45-hours of post licensing education (classroom instruction) is required during the first renewal period (18-24 months after passing the state exam).  Subsequent license renewal is required every 2 years.  Subsequent renewal may be accomplished by completing 14 hours of continuing education (classroom or correspondence course).
